STUDENT SUCCESS FUND
Applications for the 2022-23 School Year NOW OPEN!
The DSA Student Success Fund (formerly known as the Student Support Fund) was established in the fall of 2014 to ensure that all DSA students experience success and are not limited by financial resources. This fund provides assistance with DSA-related expenses such as lessons, art supplies, performance attire, tutoring, and more.
The long-term goal of this fund is to increase the diverse population of Denver School of the Arts and ensure that all students have the financial resources to be successful. We will be able to measure the success of our fund by the ability to maintain a diverse student population at DSA with the help of support offered through this fund.
A DSA education requires significant out-of-pocket expenses, which many families struggle to pay. The Success Fund is being established to provide grants to ensure that every student at DSA, regardless of income, can succeed.
Examples of typical expenses include:
$85 - Vocal Music performance attire
$200 - one AP class and textbook
$1000 - one year of music lessons
Students and families facing financial hardship can fill out the application via Google Forms. Applications will be reviewed and awarded on a quarterly basis. The third quarter and final deadline of the 22-23 school year is February 10, 2023.
